True leadership is about service.  It includes prioritizing the needs of others, helping others develop skills and confidence (empowerment), understanding concerns before making decisions which asks us to listen with empathy, and ethical behaviors or leading with integrity and fairness.  Service leadership is leading by serving – helping others succeed as the primary path to organizational success and/or community wellbeing.
